Mike Cardoso

President

I started Service1st in 2012 having spent the majority of my career in sales, marketing and business development.  I consider myself a ‘born salesman”.  I enjoy working with people through a consultative approach, matching products and services to the various needs of my clients. I feel aptly suited for the cleaning business as a self- proclaimed “clean freak”.  I’ve been truly blessed to have met some amazing people along the way, most of whom I consider not only clients, but friends.  I am equally proud to be able to provide opportunities to an ever-growing number of cleaners, helping to support their families. My approach to this business is simple, always try to do the right thing, with honesty and integrity as the foundation. I always strive to be a positive role model to those around me. I’m a graduate of UMASS, Amherst with a BS in Environmental Design (concentration in Landscape Architecture). In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, music, art, and cruising around on motorcycles and classic cars.

Claire Gutierrez

Director of Finance & Operations

After graduating with a double major in Accounting & Business Management, I started my professional experience in Guadalajara, Mexico. Over the course of seven years, I gained a great deal of knowledge in Accounting, and Human Resources. In my prior role as Human Resources Manager I developed a passion for working with people.  I relocated to Arizona in 2017, and had the privilege of joining Service1st where I have continued my path to professional growth.  I feel blessed to have found a home at this great company, which cares about its workers and families just as much, if not more so, as its customers. When not at work, my husband and I enjoy traveling and spending time with our family.

Alma Lorenzo

Operations Manager

I joined the Service1st team as a cleaner. A few years later, I was offered the opportunity to become a Supervisor. Within a year, I was promoted again to the position of Operations Manager, which is my current role.  I enjoy overseeing the day-to-day cleaning at our client accounts, while also guiding the cleaners to ensure their overall success.  I consider myself a perfect example of how working with a company that values and cares about their employees can help them grow. I am extremely proud to be part of this amazing team, which I consider my second family. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and creating memories, I love the outdoors, hiking, camping, and fishing, even though I am not very good at it.

Damian Lorenzo

Operations Manager

Witnessing the evolution of Service1st has been extremely inspiring and motivating for me. I began my journey with Service1st as a cleaner.  I was promoted to Supervisor a few years later, and again to Operations Manager, which is my current role.  Proudly, as an Operations manager, I have the ability to use my years of experience and understanding of this business to better help serve our clients, and mentor cleaners. Being a creative individual by nature, I utilize that skill often in finding solutions to the various challenges I encounter during the day. When I’m not working, I find relaxation in painting, sewing, and of course, spending time with my big, loud and colorful family.

Tempe Staffing Office Manager

I started working for Service1st as a cleaner. Since then, I have been promoted several times, leading up to my current role as Office Manager at our Tempe Staffing office.  I love my job and the values this company stands for, and I’m super proud of the customer service experience my team and I provide to all our clients. I appreciate the time, trust and training this company has invested in me, which inspires me to keep growing personally and professionally.  As Mike says, “the sky is the limit”, and I look forward to my continued journey and growth with the Service1st team. In my free time, I enjoy family events, trying new restaurants, music, and going to the gym.
